Put On A Healthy Summer Skin
The trick to mastering skin care understands that there are different solutions for everyone -- even people with the same type of skin.To find out what works best for your skin during warmer weather, you might need to experiment.
If your skin is already oily, you might be more prone to breakouts. If you have normal or dry skin, using less moisturizer could be the key. Exfoliates are commonly used during the summer --for oily or dry skin -- to keep the skin free of debris and dirt that are more prevalent in the air.
Be sure to notice any new or changes in moles. If you notice something different, see your doctor immediately.
Heat rash tends to occur in areas covered by clothing. Change your clothes as soon as possible after working out or sweating profusely so your skin can breathe.
You can burn more easily due to medications that make you more sensitive to the sun. Be aware of any side effects medication may have and be sure to use sunscreen.
If you are allergic to sunscreen, use products containing the active ingredients zinc oxide or titanium oxide.
If you feel you must have a tan, use artificial tanning products. They are safe but usually don"t provide protection from the sun. Use them with sunscreen.
